Thanks Spoon, have reset the Rip path and this has sorted the ripping, I will also try what you have suggested to see if that sorts the initial Not responding issue..

Run this:

it will reset all the settings, then try ripping a disc with default settings (nothing changed).

At which point does it show Not Responding?

If you start with no CD in drive, you can access options?
After you put in CD you can access options button?
Clicking Rip makes it freeze?

Ripper shows Not responding when opened, after a minute or so it becomes functional but when a cd is put into drive it shows all cd information but will not rip when requested.. Just displays not responding..

Any help with this would be appreciated,
Cd Ripper displays album information but will not rip. Just displays CD Ripper is Not Responding....
Any ideas??
