I've selected the 'Eject After Rip' option so when the file has been ripped, it disappears from view on DBPowerAmp. Are you talking about right clicking on the actual file on my Hard Drive? Sorry but I'm really confused.

    Hi mville,

I am very new to Dbpoweramp. I'm using it on a Macbook Pro with Parallels. When I select a track and right click it, there is no option to select Edit ID Tag. I can't see it anywhere. There is the ID Meta Box in the bottom right hand corner next to the artwork (does editing this not do the same thing?). I not sure what you mean by CD Ripper Naming Scheme string either.

Can you post your CDRipper Naming scheme string?

Select a track, right-click it and select Edit ID-Tag. Are your tags and related sort tags populated similar to this?:

    Hi garym,

I'm trying to rip a CD by The Doors. I've selected 'Artist Sort' under the Metadata Options and this is now showing as 'Doors'. Does it matter if the Artist Field and Album Artist fields say 'Doors, The' (the default option) or 'The Doors'? When I copy the files to my Astell & Kern 240, I can't get 'The Doors' to show up under 'D'. It's either 'Doors, The' under 'D' or 'The Doors' under 'T' which I don't want.

Also, since I selected 'Artist Sort', the ripped file shows up like '01 Doors, The - Roadhouse BluesDoors, TheRoadhouse BluesMorrison HotelDoors, TheDoors, The.flac instead of '01 Doors, The - Roadhouse Blues.flac'. How can I get round this?

I know I could use 'Beatles, The' but this looks really bad in my opinion.Likewise, is there a way I can get solo artists to appear under the first letter of their surnames (e.g. Neil Young under 'Y' and not 'N')? Again, I know I could use 'Young, Neil' but I don't like this either. Thanks in advance.
