Seeking advice on how to setup four IDE drives (Plextor Premium)
G'day,
I have four Plextor Premium drives that I would like to mount into the one case in order to rip four discs at once using multiple instances of the CD Ripper.
Unfortunately, the motherboard I want to use (an old Asus P5B Deluxe) only has one IDE controller.
Can anyone recommend a PCI to IDE controller card that is well suited for this purpose?
I recently bought a PCI to IDE board but it won't recognise the Plextor drives. :(
I want to get this sorted and I'm happy to spend some money but, obviously, I'd like to avoid wasting money (again) on something that doesn't work!
Any advice would be highly appreciated!
