I have ripped several thousands of CDs without problem.
"Since this morning" (i.e., all of a sudden, without any worrying signs "yesterday"...), the time it takes to "rip" a track is still normal, but "encoding" takes AGES. A CD which I ripped in under 5 minutes now takes more than half an hour to rip.
What may be happening?
