The mac version of dBpoweramp does not have Utility codecs.
dBpoweramp created these files?Leave a comment:

There is also a simple solution to this problem using MP3Tag for the Mac, but it requires running MP3Tag under Wine, something I am not familiar with as I am a Windows user.
... and if anyone knows of a bulk renamer for the Mac, then this would fix the filename issue.Last edited by mville; November 29, 2015, 03:13 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpowerAmp Mac R15.3 : how to replace all file names containing a : to ; ?
OK, Fantasia Suite for Two Guitars: Viva la Danzarina looks like the title, is that correct?
What I am thinking is:
ID Tag Update utility codec >> Manipulation >> Word / Character Replacement >> replace : with ;
then, use the Arrange Audio utility codec to rebuild the filename, from the artist, track, album and title tags.
However, I am not sure now if dBpoweramp Music Converter for the Mac has the utility codecs. Can you confirm?Leave a comment:

Which tag contains the ":" and can you provide a filename example?
... also, can you describe your setup? Where is the audio library located?Last edited by mville; November 29, 2015, 02:46 PM.Leave a comment:

If it is possible, replace ":" with ";" in both filename and tags.
Thanks,

dBpowerAmp Mac R15.3 : how to replace all file names containing a : to ; ?
Hello,
I've encoded a lot of CDs under OS X, some have a ":" in the file name, and under windows I have problems.
Please how can I replace the ":" that are in the filenames with a ";" ?
Thank you
