We prepare a new version of Asset which will allow easy extraction of your database, so we can see what your Asset has.

In the mean time check you are using the latest version of the Naim n-stream app.

Ok, just a new "accident" which was new for me... just an other example :

I was browsing Artist / Album, selected a letter (this time "J") and Asset showed all of the Artists filed under "J" with an Album cover. Then I selected an Artist here and the opening page showed all of the filed Albums from this "Artist" - but without Covers ! Switching back to an other Artist under "J" showed Albums with covers as it normally should be. Back to the first Artist... no covers again. Waited for three hours without any action, now the covers are back.....

Oh yes... well I use a Naim Audio app called n-Stream on my iPad. It's the App to control a Naim streamer (NDX for me). It's the same App I used with my Windows server. I can switch in the App between the two Asset UPNPs (Windows & QNAP). Still the windows server is running without any errors and is not showing this behaviour.

To make it clear I give you a specific example of what is wrong and strange...
Having selected the Artist "Buena Vista Social Club" and then the Album "Live At Carnegie Hall" I get a heading line with "Buena Vista Social Club" on the left as the Artist and then the Album name "Scratch my Back" (which is an Album by Peter Gabriel)... (?) below this line there is the cover from this Peter Gabriel Album, NOT the cover from Buena Vista Social Club....
The Tracks which are listed below the cover are the right titles from Buena Vista Social Club... Tagging is ok !


I attached a photo of this below.

After having Asset run on a windows server without any trouble and problems (absolutely reliable !), I set up a new QNAP server and puchased Asset again.

On the Qnap Asset is quite the opposite of the windows version.... too bad....
In Artist/Album there often are (such as) broken links between Album and contest, a wrong picture to the wrong album, very often when I choose an artist, then the Album, Asset shows in the middle of the heading-line of the album view (picture above and all the tracks below) the name of the recent Artist I selected and heard before that, sometimes the name of an Album I heard before (maybe yesterday or longer ago). Sometimes I scan through an Artist and find one or some Albums missing, sometimes I choose an Album and there is no content or just one or two files, sometimes the content from an Album which I selected days ago. Strange... VERY strange......

Mostly it's getting right when I restart Asset or rescan manually...
QNAP has 4GB of Ram.

I am quite disappointed, it's not usable in that way...
Maybe you got a hint ?
