Power Pack - Trial Failed

I downloaded powerpack, but immediately received a message that the trial had expired and I needed to register it if I wanted to get all the benefits back. BACK? It never worked in the first place. I'm interested, but I'd like to try it first. Anybody have any ideas. I donwloaded dbpowerAMP several months ago, but didn't get power pack at that time... could that be the problem?
