60 Min IN -- 32 Min OUT
Please help me with this conundrum
I have tried to convert a number of file types which are an hour long.. The output length winds up as 32 minutes with no error message..This has happened converting MP3's to Wave and from WMA to MP3 Thanx Michael Kaye |

Michael-
What formats and what settings (number of bits, number of channels, frequency, bitrate) are the source files you have tried and what are the format(s) and settings (channels, bits, bitrates, frequency) have you tried to convert to? Bill |

Re: 60 Min IN -- 32 Min OUT
Does windows media player play the files to the end? (not skipping allowing them to play through without intervention)?

Re: 60 Min IN -- 32 Min OUT
Well, I have increased virtual memory and this lengthened the output files
from 32 to 44 minutes. The WMA file plays through to conclusion. What next ? Michael |

Re: 60 Min IN -- 32 Min OUT
Try the R12.2 beta version, it had a lame fix for large files.

Good Morning Spoon:
Setup the beta version..Still having the same problem. Conversion gets about 80% finished and then jumps to the end of job & sez finished..Set to overwrite files in same directory - it did not do so but reverted to old version..Deleted old version & pgm wrote a new conversion but it was still 45 minutes instead of an hour. Where do I post a copy of this thread in the Beta Test Forum ? Thanx Michael |

Re: 60 Min IN -- 32 Min OUT
I think it is specific to the file you have, unless you have another 1 hour file which skips.
