    Difference between r14.4 & r15

Hey Spoon..... What is the difference between R14.4 & R15 versions ??????
I am still having trouble with hearing the music in my e-mails. When someone
in my music group converts mp3 to WAV using an older version of dbpoweramp
and sends the music in...I convert to IMS files to use in Incredimail & I can hear
them when received from someone else. But any that I have converted to Wav
I also have converted to IMS file & used in an e-mail. I cannot hear them. I have
consulted the support group at Incredimail. I still believe that it is in their software.
Somehow ...it won't recognize my wav conversion. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ?

There is no difference (between r15 and r14) in creating wave compressed mp3 files.

Choose the Wave-mp3 option, and use the DSP effect Resample to set 11KHz, try different bitrates on the option page.

Hey Spoon..... Can it be that the platform is wrong ?
Is your converters compatible with 64 - bit platforms ?
I am running a 64 bit platform. But can use 32-bit
      software. But I think when I bought R14 I think I selected 64-bit.
Not sure. Would that have anything to do with my problem ?

32 bit programs run fine on 64 bit platforms.

R14 is mostly 32 bit except for the parts which have to be 64 bit to interface with Windows.

If you are able to use the sound files you download from the IncrediMail Online Gallery, it means that there isn't a problem with your sound settings. The only option I can think of is that this program creates WAV files that are somehow different the the ones supported by the program, since there does not seem to be any other possible cause for this issue.Best regards,

They could be right, however we do not know what Incredimail supports and what it does not support.

                    Re: Difference between r14.4 & r15

I don't think they are right BECAUSE.... When I forward the e-mail ...I can hear it when received.
I can't seem to get that through his head. I can hear them when played through all my media players also
So it is not the audio file. That is what he is blaming it on. He thinks it is the file that dbPoweramp makes is not compatible. HOGWASH !:smile2:

Although I do think it might have to do with the Codec that is built into Windows 7.
A friend has Windows XP & is not having this trouble. I didn't start having this trouble
till getting this new PC with Windows 7. On the other hand..... If that were it.....
I wouldn't be able to hear them when played on my Windows Media Player.
I just can't give up on this. Need to figure it out !
