Problems resampling from 176kHz tp 96kHz

Hello, I have an album that the files are an odd sample rate 176kHz. I have attempted to go from flac 176kHz to 96kHz. The files convert according to dbpoweramp, but will not play, either on Jriver media center or my pmp. I have done this with 192kHz files with no problems. Is it the odd sample rate that is causing problems? Using DSP to perform this. Thanks for any help.

YEs I do not think this nonstandard sample rate is supported.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder why they used that sample rate in the first place? Too bad though the recording is of excellent quality.

I have same problem, conversion from 176khz produces corrupt files. We should not ask why 176khz was used, we should ask why does dbpoweramp not support this sample rate? It has been very common, and dbpoweramp claims to be the best in music conversion. Well, their resampler seems to be poorly programmed. Or did I miss anything?
