have been using dbpowerAMP for months, did a fresh install of windows98, can not see rm files.
Installed V11.5, real-ALT, directshow, added the file types, and config'ed and see that all the real audio file types are there. The files I am attempting to see play fine in media player classic. but when I right click them, no "convert to" shows, same with file selector program.
some with files I had converted before, or new dl. ALso grabbed the k-lite mega codec pack, still no luck
Any thoughts would be helpful

Did you also install things from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/Windows95-Update.htm ? That's needed if you are running W98.
Did you run dMC Configuration? enabled Windows Shell integration?
Are the extensions for .rm and .ra showing next to DirectShow decoding codec ?

Comon controls and DCOM have been updated
dMC Configuration has been run, and the .ra .ram .rm all show.
enabled Windows Shell integration?????
Not sure what this means.
Streambox ripper works fine on the files

Click "dBpowerAMP Settings" and check "'Convert To' Menu Item" then restart your computer.

the convet to was checked, and shows fine on rt. click if file is mp3 or wav.
only missing if file is a real audio file, and I as mentioned, codec for direct show all seem to be present in configuration utility

What's rt ?
WHere is this message coming from:
click if file is mp3 or wav
That's not from dMC.

sbcohen means "shows fine on right click if file is mp3 or WAV." as in the "Convert To" options shows up on mp3 and WAV files, but not real media files.
Can you play these real media files in Windows Media Player? If you can, can you conver these files using dMC?

Yes I can play the ra file in windows media player, but I am not sure what dMC is. Is this another converter codec?
