sometimes when i try to convert a track from a cd this message comes up:

The output file 'H:\radiohead - The Bends.mp3' could not be opened.

Why is this and what can i do. My mp3 player definetly isn't full.

Are you trying to rip a cd and make mp3 files and store the converted output directly on your portable player? Did you try to direct the output to your hard drive instead? You can alsway copy it from tehre to your portable palyer by other means.

Also, is your version of dMC registered or at least still in the trial period? As soon as it's expired and you haven't properly registered it you cannot encode anything to mp3 any more as you need a licence to use the mp3 encoding codec.
