Foreign characters in ID3 tags display incorrectly

When I rip a CD through dBpowerAMP and it acquires the titles through freedb, the ID3 tags created do not show foreign characters correctly. As a specific example, "é" is written as é in ID3 tags for some reason... Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks.

Re: Foreign characters in ID3 tags display incorrectly

Are you using Release 10 released in January? This is a known bug. The new dMC beta, R11, in the beta section of this forum, supports Unicode encoding in file tags.

Edit: well, not really a bug, just an unsupported feature
