Im using dMC 10.1. I've got a 'Goo Goo Dolls - Iris.mpg' and had tried to convert to MP3. But it all seems that after converting, the song from usual 4:36 is down to 2:55. Same goes to every other mpg that i tried converting to MP3. When i play, its like fast fowarding. I know that the whole song is there but its been squeezed into 2:55 thus the song players super fast.
How do i make it play normally with the actual song time and not 2:55 (Its always capped at 2:55!!)
Quoting myself from a prior post on this subject:
Some various ideas to resolve this problem include trying the dMC r11 beta, trying the mp3PRO codec (which would also involve downloading and installing a version of Thompson mp3PRO player-a link for which is in the Codec Central portion of this site),
and recording the files in wma video format.
You might want to check out the following threads:

Oops, those links don't work!
Myabe http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=4873 on a hunch?
ChristinaS. is correct about the threads not working. Curiously, when I went back to my original post, both threads worked but both pointed to the same thread ChristinaS. mentioned. Curious.
Anyway the dMC r11 beta has a new mp3 decoder which does a better job of reading many file types. The mp3pro decoder might work if your mpg files are very compressed (around 64 kbs. or lower) and the wma tip (or recording through auxilary input on your soundcard if you can play the mpg file in a player) is in case the other two tips don't work.
