Hello,
I did some searching for this feature and I wasn't able to find anything. I'm wondering if there's a way to have dbpoweramp music converter create folders based on tags (for example, like EAC when ripping a CD).
Ideally, it would look something like:
"Folder: %artist/%album" etc. etc.
Is there something already like this? Many thanks!

Yes it is possible. In the options dialog of CD Audio Input you can specify how dMC is to organise ripped tracks.
Alternatively, the 'Arrange Music' codec can be used to rearrange existing music files based on how you have configured dMC to handle them.

Wayne,
Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was looking for this feature merely in for the music converter.
For example:
Say I have a lossless backup of an album I wish to transcode to a lossy format. I open up explorer, select the files I wish to transcode, and music converter writes them to whatever directory I specify. However, is there a way for music converter to read the tags already stored within the lossfiles files, and *create* a directory structure based on those tags?
That way, if I want to transcode 500 flac files of the same artist, but encompassing10 different albums, I won't have to manually create the name of the 10 albums as subfolders. Can dMc do this for me?
Thanks!

It has been a while since I have used it but the File Selector addon may create the necessary folder structure when transcoding files?

Looks like this is the best solution yet (although still not quite what I was looking for, but pretty close)
Thanks for your help!
