converted file is only 1 kb

I converted the m4p to mp4 using m4p2mp4.exe, now am trying to convert from mp4 to mp3 using dbpoweramp, i did this from Windows Explorer, right clicked on the file, then 'convert to..', however, no matter what format I chose, the converted mp3 file is always 1 kb.

I have quicktime 6.5, mplayer 9.0, directx 9.

does anyone have some suggestions? thanks!

Try playing the converted mp4 file in Quicktime, me thinks it is not right.
