wav>wma using wine

i'm running the dmc through the latest version of wine. when i startup dmc, i get the following error:
err:module:import_dll Library WMVCore.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\PROGRAM FILES\\ILLUSTRATE\\DBPOWERAMP\\Multiplayer\\Input\ \WMA.dll") not found

when i try to install the wma-v9 system codecs, i get an error saying "this application is not supported on this operating system".

i copied wmvcore.dll from another machine to my fake windows/system32 directory, but i'm still getting the error.

any idea what i can do to fix this?

The Wma9 system codec has not installed.
