When i convert an mpeg track to mp3 it raises the speed of the song
Its sooooo annoying

A new mp3 decoder is on its way, it might help - a couple of weeks.

In the mean time, you could use something like TMPGEnc to demux the audio from the mpeg file, giving an MP2 file, which you wouldn't need to reencode or anything.
