Perfect Metadata not functioning

Spoon,

I installed my registered 13.0, unstalling 12.4 in the process.
Then I installed 13.1 over 13.0, all seemed well.

When I tried using CD ripper to rip a disk, I did not receive any metadata.

DSP options set at the time were HDCD and ReplayGain

I reverted to 12.4, and everything worked fine again.

Any insight into what I did wrong?

To clarify, when you installed r13.1, you told it to NOT uninstall the current version, correct? Did dBpoweramp Configuration still show a valid access period for PerfectMeta/AMG?

That is correct, when Installing 13.0, I told it to uninstall 12.4, and then I went to 13.1 without uninstalling 13.0 as indicated by other posts.

I did not think to check the configuration, but when it all stopped working, I did think to re-install my AMG relicense. It went without error (once I found my order number), but did not change what happened.

Oddly enough, I also couldn't access AccurateRip either, although I could access any website through my browser. And my firewall didn't complain about the change in CD Ripper.

When I re-installed 12.4, of course, everything worked perfectly.

What firewall are you using?

Sygate Personal, but I'm pretty sure that isn't a factor.

I suspect I did something dumb that was easy to overlook.

If I have time this weekend, I'll go through it again, stopping at 13.0 to see if all is well there before jumping up to 13.1
