I have a live recording that was encoded as a single FLAC file. I was able to insert track points in the file and resaved it out to multiple files. I have confirmed that they play gapless by listening to the tracks in Foobar. I re-ecoded the files in dbpoweramp to Nero AAC files and now when listening to the files, they are no longer gapless. There is a tiny hiccup when Foobar changes tracks. I have read that Nero's AAC supports gapless playback. Is there something special I need to do to ensure that they stay gapless when re-encoding?

Thanks for any help.

No, it is upt the player to play files gaplessly. Try mp3 as a test, FB should play back gapless for mp3 Lame.

Re-encoded as LAME and that did work. I have read that FB2K does support gapless playback with Nero AAC. Any idea why the .m4a's produced when converting in dBpoweramp are not playing gaplessly in FB2K? The same source FLAC's are used for both conversions.

Thanks.
