Term Service error

When trying to use dMC in a Terminal Services session on a W2k server, the following error always occurs after going through all the screens:

The CODEC required to decompress '[filename] ' could not be opened.

Any ideas as to fixing so I can use term services?

Converting from CCITT u-law .wav to 8kHz 8-bit PCM .wav

Not sure what it could be, sounds as though Term services is limiting access to something (disk, registry).
