Converting Winamp Media Files to mp3

I have tried to compress Winamp Media Files to mp3, but dbpower converter will not reduce the file or convert it to mp3(lame). Is there a reason.?

What is the extension of your file? Right-click on the file and go to properties, I believe it will tell you the extension there.

What message do you get when you try to convert to mp3? Where is the source files located and where are you trying to convert to?
