Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to 12.3. I've downloaded the latest release from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/ and installed it. When I attempt to run scripts which I used to use (they basically encode to mp3, wma and aac from flac files, occasionally using soundgrabber) I get a window titled License Details which says "Component Requires DBPoweramp Reference". Do I not have DBPoweramp Reference? I thought that was what I just installed? Also in this window it says "All Media Guide: 25 days access remaining", but I don't see how that could be relevant since I'm not using that functionality.

Help!

Does the dBpoweramp Configuration window say Reference or PowerPack?

It says:

dBpoweramp Music Converter
Release 12.3
Registration Status
mp3 License & Power Pack: Registered
All Media Guide: 25 Days Access Remaining

dBpoweramp Audio Player

You installed the PowerPack, not Reference.
All Media Guide is another source of meta-data for CD ripping, including album art.

This is a bit confusing... so is my product obsolete? How do I upgrade to the latest version?

You will have to upgrade your Powerpack & MP3 License to the dBpowerAMP Reference (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc-power-register-upgradePP.htm).

See the features of the different versions on http://www.dbpoweramp.com/db-versions.htm
