Does it normally take a minute to from 99% encoding to ripping the following song?

I'm using Reference mode 12.3 and encoding in FLAC in Burst mode. 'After Encoding Verify Written Audio' is enabled. I noticed it takes a little over a minute to go from the "Encoding 99%" point to when dMC begins ripping the next song. Is this normal?

After further testing it still takes a minute when 'After Encoding Verify Written Audio' is disabled. :vmad:

The drive you are saving your rips to, is it an internal drive, an external drive, or a network drive? Are you using any DSP effects?

It's an internal IDE drive. I am not using any DSP effects.

Just wondering if this problem was related to you stating in another thread that you were ripping to a NAS box. Are you ripping to the NAS here too, or an internal drive?
