I have a strange problem:

When I rip a CD with DBPowerAmp (11.5 or 12.2, I tried both), my CD Drives lock up after the rip is done.
This means, I can insert a second CD, but it will not be recognized and the drive does not even speed up to read.
I can also not access it over the Explorer: If I try that, my whole explorer hangs up.
If I rip with Nero, I can rip one after the other. I can also change CDs and view them in the Explorer.
My problem happenes only when using DBPower Amp.
I appears irrespective of the drive used and only a windows-restart helps.

My System:
- Intel Core2Duo 2,0GHZ, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD,
- 1xDVD-RAM burner (LG)
- 1x DVD-ROM (NoName)
- Windows XP SP2 with all latest Updates

Please help!!!

Try switching the Communication method on the CD Ripper page to Windows Internal.

THANK YOU!!!!

But I have one more question: It tells me that many things don't work with "Windows internal". I also have ASPI and ASPI (Nero).
Would those be better (if they work,...)?

Thanks again!

If the SCSI Pass Through doesn't work, your next best bet is Windows Internal. All that doesn't work is C2 error pointers, and dMC can't show you the technical information for your drive.

If Nero ASPI works for you then use that, Windows Internal is the safest method.
