installed v. 12 but DID uninstall 11.5 (registered)

i downloaded and installed dmc v. 12 and THEN read the sticky in the support forum (wanted to know how to make sure v.12 was registered too). lo and behold, i was supposed to install v.12 and NOT uninstall 11.5 -- whoops i already did it.
so, is my option to uninstall 12, reinstall 11.5, then reinstall v12? i guess i missed the instructions on the download page -- i don't think they exist. :(

Or you can get a new registered install for dMC r12, as described here: http://dbpoweramp.com/registration/

Note that this only works if your purchase is over two weeks old. Also, registered link retrieval now has r12.1, which has many bug fixes.
