View Full Version : Won't Connect to AccurateRip

I recently purchased and registered a copy of dbpowerAmp 12.

Since installing the registered version I can't seem to connect to the AccurateRip. I've checked and the checkbox next to Query Ripping Results... in the options dialog is checked. Following the suggestion in a different thread I've uninstalled, deleted the C:\program files\Illustrate directory and then reinstalled. None of this seems to work.

I CAN connect to the AMG and freedb databases.

Here's a posting of the debug session. This is for the Killer's Hot Fuss, a CD that should certainly be in the AccurateRip database. In any case I've burned probably 100 titles in the last week or so and NONE of them have shown up in AccurateRip.

My system is running XP SP2 on a 2.8ghz P4. Windows firewall is disabled.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

What firewall/security software are you running? Do you see a "CD in AccurateRip" below the track listing before you rip?

AccurateRip is handled internally by accuraterips dll, so the debug log will not show anything.

Check you have not selected the offline database option.

Thanks guys.

It was that the Offline database had somehow become checked.

For those that search for this later and find this posting here's how I changed the setting back to online.

Click the Options button on the main toolbar
In the AccurateRip section of the window that pops up click the 'Submit' button next to 'Send Results to Online Database'.
When the Submit AccurateRip Results window is shown click the Advanced button.
The setting is a radio button the part of the form that's exposed by clicking the advanced button.
