poweramp can't see my DVD drive (Vista)

It finds a virtual drive but not the real one.
When I open CD config the drive is not listed

Vista Ultimate 32
Samsung SATA SH-183A DVD drive
MSI 975x
Running as admin
Alcohol 120% with one virtual drive.

I just closed the alcohol virtual drive and now cdgrab doesn't see any drives.
Alcohol lists the Samsung OK.

Try the latest r12.1 beta, does that help?

Can you change the communication set to "Windows Internal"?

Windows internal did it, thanks.

A bit new to poweramp so I didn't see that communication option.
