Hi,

Here is a part of a report I get after ripping a track:

Secure (Warning) [Pass 1, Ultra 1 to 4, Re-Rip 2 Frames]
CRC32: 0773F5A5
Re-rip Frame: 197862 (00:01:48,813) matched 10 / 11 (c2 dropped 4)
Re-rip Frame: 197863 (00:01:48,826) matched 10 / 11

I have read a bit about the things dbpoweramp reference does when ripping. But I don't understand what "c2 dropped 4" means. Can somebody explain it please?
I know there are C2 pointers that indicate if there is an error but I don't know what "c2 dropped 4" means

thx

It means that c2 reported on 15 of re-rips that there was an error, so that rerip was dropped and not compared (as getting 10 matching errors is a real concern for a secure ripper).

And where comes the "4" from, in "c2 drops 4"?

Hi

sorry for all the questions, but I always want to know everything in details.
And what does "matched 10 / 11" means exactly?

thanks in advance!

I believe that it means that the frame was ripped 11 times and 10 of those rips matched.
