error whilst running ... dbconfig.exe [Archive]

I have been using the flac codec ever since I bought the registered version and now it won't run. Just recently I randomly got an error saying that I couldn't decode a FLAC file while trying to convert to AIF because the FlAC codec wasn't installed or something (I have since forgotten what the error said). I figured I should reinstall the codec, despite the fact that it was still in my folder. When I tried reinstalling the coded I get an error at the end of installation saying "error wilst running .... dbconfig.exe". I decided to uninstall the whole program, but I still get this error while trying to install the flac codec.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Are you running dMC r12 or r11.5? If your running dMC r12, make sure you use the FLAC codec from Codec Central. If your using r11.5 or older, you need to get the codec from Legacy Codec Central.
