missing wav and flac info

This may seem an odd one but after downloading and installing both the db amp player, though not making it my default player, and also downloading and installing the OGG codec, I can no longer get quick info on WAV and FLAC files when my mouse rolls over the file name (XP). THings like length of track and type of file no longer pop up, just a bare size of file. Anyone know how to revert back? I use this feature of XP a lot to get a quick sense of time and file format. Thanks.

What are WAV and FLAC files associated with?

You could try disabling the pop-ups, restarting, enabling them, restarting, and then see if they work.
