wont register CD [Archive]

Hello peoples

Have a seemingly very basic problem that i can't get my head round. All DB gives me is insert audio CD when one is already in. When right clicking on file says...

The file 'E:\Track01.cda' could not be opened.
Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?

help please.

What operating system?

I am guessing that when you click 'Options' in Audio CD Input no CD drives are listed?

correct - lists E:\ and thats about it. am using windows 2000

Start >> Programs >> dBpowerAMP Music Converter >> Configuration >> dMC Audio CD Configuration

Set 'CD Communication' to 'NT/2000 Built-in (limited)'

Then try Audio CD Input
