cd input doesn't detect cd

Hi

Have an old version of dbPopwerAmp - hasn't been used in a while, but it was functioning fine last time I did use it.

Now when I open CD Input, then put an audio CD in the tray, nothing happens.

The CD mounts OK - can play through explorer fine. Doesn't seem to be any way to make the prog see it though.

PC is win98, SP2. can't tell you what release of db, as I can't find that info - I have a receipt dated Sept 2003, product code is <removed>.

hope you can help me get this flying again. It is decent software.

Version numbers are in dMC Configuration. Start --> Program s--> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration
