Audible files only converting partially...

hi there-

i am trying to convert some audible files into mp3 and followed Joe's guide. it seems to be working okay EXCEPT that it only converts about 5 megs of the file, rather than the whole thing. when it starts converting, the progress bar seems to slowly increment from 0% to about 3 or 4%, and then all of a sudden it says "Finished."

any suggestions?

thanks...problem was with an ac-3 filter. ran graphedit and noticed it. had been interjected as part of a trial installation of sagetv. i uninstalled sage tv and ran graphedit again, which now showed it to be fine. and sure enough, the file converted fully.
