Unsolved problem: dBpoweramp can not rip cd's with manufacturing errors

Hello everybody out in this world!
I think every user of dBpoweramp nows about this. You have a cd in mint condition. You rip this cd and everthing looks fine, until you listen to this cd.
And you hear for exampel a short drop out. Because the cd was ripped without any problems, and is playable on a cd player without error, it must be a
manufacturing error on the master. To buy the cd again, or to try another external cd drive will be worthless. When will dBpoweramp solve this problem?
I think its a shame that a modern software cannot handle this kind of errors, for example with a special rip modus who don't use AccurateRip and instead
interpolates errors like a cd player.

It is the CD drive which is supposed to interpolate, try a different cd drive, some do it well, some do it poorly (and give clicks).

Hello Spoon, thank you for your answer. When i have a CD drive that not interpolate correct and i get a rip with errors, why i don't have error reports when my rip is checked with all the others
    in the AccurateRip database?

If the rip verified with accuraterip then it is likely there were no errors, and the error was a mastering (not manufacturing) defect.

Post the secure ripping log please for that disc.

If you aren't getting error reports, how do you know the rip has errors?

I would say this rip has no errors, try playing with a known good player on the PC, such as foobar2000.

Also did you have any DSP effects running whilst ripping?

When it was a mastering error, i can't rip this CD without this error? And i must listen this cd from my audio server with this error? And my 30 years old cd player plays it without problems?
Is it right that using a different cd drive for ripping will not solve this problem?

Perhaps your audio server has a playback problem. The log you posted earlier suggests no problem with the rip.

It is possible that your assumption that there is manufacturing error may be incorrect.

My audio server has no reading/writing and playback problems. I think the problem is how AccurateRip works: it doesn't check/scans a rip active for errors, it only compares the complete data of a cd with other rips. When the data is the same the rip is accurate. But this method will not work with cd's who are all produced with the same error(s). The result will always this: same data, no errors, accurate! I know not many cd's have this problem ( in my collection 3 of 400 ) but i can not accept that i use the newest technology for listening music and i must live with such playback problems. Thank's god i didn't sell my old cd player...

If the label release every CD with an error in the audio (a recording or mastering error), how can any system detect this error?

CD Ripper is a redbook audio CD ripping application. The goal here is to use CD Ripper/AccurateRip to get bit perfect rips, which you are getting. There is no problem with CD Ripper OR AccurateRip.

Now, IF there is a recording/mastering/manufacturing problem, IMO that is not anything ripping software should try to fix, otherwise we will not get bit perfect rips. If the problem is significant, I would contact with the Record Company/Label who released the CD.

If your audio server does not interpolate errors the same way that your CD player does, perhaps you could contact the software/hardware developer and ask them why?

By the way, please can you list the 3 or 4 CDs you say contain recording/mastering/manufacturing errors (include year, territory and label of release)?

It seems a CD player can do this. My CD player plays this CDs without problems, when i play the same CD from my audio server i hear the errors.
