    Audio CD input

I'm having problems with my Audio CD input converter. When the program starts up, it lists the tracks and everything correctly. But when I go got convert tracks 7 and 10, it says the following:

    CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track07.cda'
Unable to read CD, scratched disk?
The file '\\CdRom\Track10.cda' could not be opened.
Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?

The CD is in the drive, and it's not scratched. Help!

      more errors...

I tried to rip the whole CD at once, and it went until it said the following:

      CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track07.cda'
Unable to read CD, scratched disk?
The file '\\CdRom\Track08.cda' could not be opened.
Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?

Once again, the CD is not scratched, and I can play the entire CD using the windows CD player on my computer.

Is it a standard cd you buy in the shops? or is it a CD-R/RW disc?

I decided to register, so my new name is now jarros.

It is a regular CD, not burned or anything: Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2

Normally this error comes from the actual CD drive reporting that it cannot read a particular section, there is nothing that can be done, except to try ripping it using a different CD drive.

              Thanks

Well, I used a different CD drive, and it worked! I was originally using a dvd rom instead of my other one, which might be the problem. Thanks for all your help!
