At least make the context menu work in Windows x64. Winrar is a good example of a 32-bit program whose context menu is compatible with x64.

Spoon said back in May of this year (2005) that it is being looked at. Remember that Spoon is the only programmer of all of dBpowerAMP's projects.
any news on this???
Its still a few months off. Remember, there is one programmer, Spoon, that writes all of these wonderful programs.Originally Posted by Spoon
It is not as simple as that, I could write 64 bit extensions for the shell but a 64 bit program cannot load a 32 bit dll (all the codecs), so there needs to be a mid layer of thunking, total mess...

It's been six months since the last post, shall I give up and go elsewhere for 64-bit support?
6 months? Actually it's been 3 weeks.Originally Posted by eckre
As I said above when I quoted Spoon, 64-bit support will come with dMC r12.
What is the ETA for dMC r12?
What are good alternatives to dMC? (that works in x64, most things do that are 32 bit, except symantec products, everything else works except dMC)
dMC r12 is about 4-6 months off. And remember that dMC still works as a whole, the right-click menu stuff and the Explorer columns are the only things that odn't work, I believe.
There is a temporary solution for this you know. Just use the 32-bit internet explorer for browsing files on your PC. 32-bit internet explorer uses the 32-bit shell, so all your rightclicks work like before. dbPoweramp, winzip etc..
