Need help with voice removal

My friends need to get rid of the lyrics in a song. (mp3 format)

and when i use the power DSP thingo and i convert

the song gets all fuzzy and the sound quality drops,,,

could sum1 help pls

That would be the best that can be done with the file you have.

That DSP efect is best applied to an original wav recording which has the voice placed in a certainway (front and center, I believe).

By the time you acquired the mp3 file, all such fine details of recording would have been gone through the lossy nature of the mp3 format.
