:vmad: I wanted to try out dB Poweramp converter and used it on a couple of my files a month ago. I now find that all my MPEG files have been tagged and will not play correctly. I cannot seem to get rid of the Tag and as this appears on all of my four hard drives covering some two hundred video clips I am both frustrated and extremly annoyed. How do I rectify this situation. Using Win XP Professional.

sounds like your talking about file association. as far as i know you can only manually associate mpeg files with dbpoweramp. it doesn't happen by itself.
to change the association of the file type in dbpoweramp
start-->programs-->dbpoweramp-->configuration-->file association
