    Keyboard control of DAP

Got the latest beta of DAP (v2 release 7) and yup, the MS Internet Pro volume/mute keys now work, wahoo!

The media button did not give me the file open dialog as per the change summary - it displayed the MS Media Player, I can change it to AMP.EXE but thought someone might like to know?

Not sure what the 'nice surprise' in the 'Playlist Edit' dialog was either, but I have not had DAP for long so probably haven't noticed any changes.

Took me a while to work out what 'MMC' was too - doh!

    Cheers

    Chris

      Keyboard customisation...

When you install the MS Internet Pro software you get a small
(4 Mbyte, perhaps not so small!) configuration program in W2K that allows you to customise the keys...I can send it to you if it helps?

I have attached screen captures of the dialogs..

      Cheers

Funnily enough I have one of those keyboards, but make it a rule not to install any MS util program (after problems with the Intellimouse utility...).

Are you able to set it to no program?

Just thought - you can install the 'Freak Controls' and there is a program 'dAP-Open' you could run, or you might prefer to view the My Music Collection - set it to 'editor'
