Converting wma to mp3

I need to convert some 80k wma files to mp3 format and
was wondering what would be the best Bit rate to choose
for the mp3 files, so as to preserve the same audio quality
of the converted files as the origionals.

You would be best trying 128Kbps or 160Kbps (or higher) to retain the quality.
