I've been fighting with the normalize function for a almost a year and I'm not satisfied with the results I'm getting. I realize that a compressor would only be useful in certain circumstances, but I'm using Winamp in those circumstances now. I realize that dB player is already cool and leaves the llama in the dust 90% of the time. Just hoping some wiser person than myself might share my need and wiffle up something.
