    Mozilla Firefox Browser

Amidst the much too often security threats and constant patches on Internet Explorer, I switched to Mozilla Firefox and, I must say, this browser is awsome. I recommend it to anyone using this forum. It is open source and allows for poeple to highly customize, it would be great to have an extension for dbpoweramp made which will allow dbpoweramp to integrate into the browser. Just a thought!

You mean Firebird.....I mean like a little extension (plug-in) toolbar which will give you the song title, length, play, ff, rv, stop, stuff like that. I'm sure it's plausible.

yes i see what you mean. i think WMP can do that? or some player can from memory. perhaps when Spoon makes it live streaming capable that option will work well as well.

Didn't think of the streaming possibility, when it comes about that would be great!

I'm using Mozilla 1.6 and its pretty good. Its hard to go back to using Internet Explorer when you are used to tabbed browsing.

I'm not sure if the one im using is the latest though.

You are right, drspy00, it is very hard to go back to Internet Explorer, if not imposible:D.

I love to use Mozilla as it displays CSS better than IE does.

I think we are straying off here...

The word is about Mozila FIREFOX not plane Mozila.
i've got firefox 0.8 and it seems realy faster than Opera 7.0 and Mozila 1.6 (I dont think mentioning IE is needed).

the newest version of firefox if 0.92 , but im sticking with 0.8 till' 1.0 final comes out...there is really no internal changes to 0.9/0.91/0.92/and such, just a new theme and some small changes..

I thought mozilla and firefox were the same programs but I guess that they are different. I might download Firefox to try it. :smile2:

mozilla is the full featured browser, you'll find it similar to Opera..whereas mozilla firefox is the speedy, lite browser

Make sure you install the ShellBlock extension if you want to stick with 0.8, a security issue was identified which could exploit the Shell object to access files on the local hard drive.

But yeah I wouldn't be able to go back to IE, especially because of tabbed browsing!

I did that about a day after the patch came out
