How to preserve date of converted files?

First post here.

Been using DB on my Macs for years with no issues. Very simple usage.

Due to how I have my current music library set up I want to make sure that when I convert files (for the most part, from FLAC to AIFF), the date attached to that newly converted file is the same as the source file.

I also want to send the source file to trash during the process, automatically.

How do I do this?
