Found My Prob With V20 Spoon help ???

v17 working perfectly
upgraded to new v20
but has to go back to v17 because i was getting errors when i was trying to rip cds.

thought i'd try v20 today and test a few things one by one.

FOUND The issue
i can rip cd with upto 7 images attached [I scan the books, covers etc]
BUT once i add 8 or more images thats when it errors out.
never had this issue with v17

Mr.Spoon could you please have a look at fixing this please

This is an older error I posted on the forem b4. I'm assuming the error is the same now.

Both wave and flac cannot have more than 7 album arts? what is the exact error message for wave?

V17 I've added 18 art at one point.
I'll give you the error later when I get home, before I'll uninstall v20 and go back to V17

What are the combined file sizes of these images? From the spec for ID3v2 - "Since each frame can be 16MB and the entire tag can be 256MB you'll probably never again be in the same situation as when you tried to write a useful comment in the old ID3 being limited to 30 characters." FLAC I believe also has a similar limitation for the header.

I guess that answer the question. You are trying to store 73MB of pictures into a frame that only supports 16MB.

As stated V17 handles that size ... So V20 should

It is likely this issue, flac will have been updated and restrictions placed on the actual library we use.

so thats why V17 works with flac
will this get updated or fixed in the future ?
or should i stick with V17 and right off the cost of V20
