Grabbing - Naming CD from List TXT

    Hi

we need to grab a lot of Audios CDs, mostly self burned, every CD is catalogized and has a unique Number. We use a Nimbie Loader, and want to use a List which contains the cd numbers 34567.23452,44565, and so on. The Number should be the folder name. Any Chance to do that, otherwise someone has to type in every number after loading...

    Thanks a lot

Where do those numbers come from? cdtext? which field?

Those numerns are labeled on the case, so we would type them manually into a txt File

We could offer bespoke development on this, something like:

Special batch ripper, on start it asks for a txt file (standard windows file select)
Inside the txt file it takes the naming, one cd per line, in order

The output folder would be set to this.

    Hi,
We are looking for a similar solution.

Our cd's are not selfburned, but they are catalogued much like ffhtechnik's.
Ours have a unique number and a barcode labeled on the cases.
Our system automatically matches each file to the correct release if the folder name matches our unique number.

The solution we are looking for sounds very similar, although we would like to use a barcode scanner as we load the cd's in to the Nimbies.
Txt file could also work, but scanning as we load them in allows for more flexibility.

Is this possible to work on?
And how did your special batch ripper turn out?

    Best regards
