Used batch converter for MacOS for the first time recently (been a Windows user for years) and noticed that MacOS creates these annoying files on my SD card when I dump a load of FLAC files from my NAS to mp3 for use in my car player.

I believe MacOS does this whenever it writes to a non-Mac file system (FAT/FAT32/exFAT/NTFS etc.), but to be honest this is the first time I’ve seen it.

The problem is the car unit then presents all these files in its UI, since they still end .mp3, but of course they then error when selected.

A check-box option that runs the dot-clean command on the target volume would be a really cool feature to get around this annoyance.
