Asset for Synology NAS is Invalid Format.

I have just changed from a QNAP NAS to Synology NAS. ASSET worked great on my QNAP, so I wish to use on my new Synology. I have downloaded the MAC trial version for Synology - dragged to applications etc. On my Synology NAS I have uploaded manually. The file which uploads from my applications is AssetUPnP.app.zip when I click next the following message occurs: Invalid format. Please contact the package developer. SO, advice would be greatly appreciated. Does the Asset trial version not work on Synology?

    Thank you Wayne

You would not download the Mac version, instead download the Synology version from our site, it has the extension .spk, this is the file you manually install.

...... and if you have a new Synology it will be loaded with DSM-7 so you need to download & install Asset for Synology DSM 7
