Thread: Conversion file

    Conversion file

I have a signal chain that purposefully distorts the signal....tube warmth, soundstage expansion, and some bass boost. I can record the result and create a file that has the distorted result. Can that be used with the original that can create a file that I can use to distort all the songs so I can listen without using the signal chain? How would I do it?

No you would have to run the whole signal chain, as each piece of audio is different.

What do you mean each piece of audio is different? If you can embed things in files like upsampling and eq, how would this be any different?

Because the process of boosting bass EQ is based on the audio, you cannot apply a pre-calculated audio wave to achieve the same.
