I inherited a dbpoweramp included in a pc a friend sold me, I noticed that db poweramp occupy 14 gigabytes!!!! is that true with latest versions? now many bytes does this program occupy? How can I avoid to burn precious space in my hard disk?

no, that is not correct whether old versions or new versions. my dbpa takes up 88MB, not counting any small registry files. Something is wrong. Maybe there is a subfolder in your dbpa folder that contains the actual music files from previously ripped CDs?
